Research interests: developmental biology, cellular and molecular biology of stem cells, translational medicine. Ongoing projects in the laboratory:

  1. Lineage specific function of Notch signaling in the cardiovascular system, role of Notch signaling in aortic diseases and congenital heart diseases;
  2. Modeling of cardiomyopathies with patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells;
  3. Notch in osteogenic differentiation.
